  1. Waimanalo Bay Beach Park Waimanalo Bay Beach Park, also known as Sherwood Forest or Hūnānāniho, is located on the windward side of Oahu. It boasts a large white sand beach with a backdrop of the scenic Ko'olau Mountain Range. Formerly known for criminal activity, the park recently got its official name in 2021. The area was dubbed "Sherwood Forest" due to criminal acts reminiscent of Robin Hood. The park offers lifeguards, showers, restrooms, and picnic tables. Dogs are allowed below the high tide line. Numerous activities include sunbathing, wildlife watching, fishing, hiking, water sports, and beach-related activities. The beach is popular for surfing, and the waters are home to diverse marine life. Be cautious of rip currents, poor underwater visibility, and jellyfish.
