University of California (UC) • Application: admissions.universityofcalifornia.edu • When: Opens October 1st – Closes November 30th • Cost: $70 per campus • What you need to apply: • Grades, test scores, SS#, list of extra curricular activities, answer 4 out of 8 listed personal insight questions

Other Applications • Application: Check School Website • What: Many public Out of State (Ex: ASU, U of Iowa) • When: Depends on School – ‘Rolling’ Can submit before Senior year! • Cost: Depends on School • What you need to apply: Depends on School – transcript, test scores, letters of rec., essays, activities

What you can do now • SAT/ACT Tests –Plan/register for any future tests • Keep defining college list – Add schools to ‘Colleges I’m thinking about’ on Naviance • Asking for letters if necessary • Finish Brag Sheet on Naviance – Parents too! • Make Common App Account – if applicable • Personal Insight Questions/ Essays • Summer: Explore your interests!
