  1. Questions to Ask a Pet Memorial Artist Have you been thinking of the best ways of memorizing your departed pet but not sure how to do it? If yes, how about getting a good artist to make a pet memorial that will help to recreate the memories you used to have with the pet. You can find an artist that you can trust in your city, county, or state as long as you do your research well. While at it, though, ensure to ask them the following questions. 1.What is your experience? This is a direct question that may seem unsettling for artists who may have some reservations about it. Since it is a crucial one for you as the client, ensure not to leave it out whenever you are vetting a pet memorial designer. If one of them is not willing to talk about how long they have been in business, then it will be okay to leave them out and speak to others. 2.Can I have a look at your portfolio? This is another crucial question that you might want to pay more attention to. It might make some artists uneasy, which should help you with the shortlisting because you can just drop them from your list. The portfolio could contain photos of what the artists may have made in the past and currently. It could also have videos of them working on the memorial pieces that you are considering getting. From the portfolio, it will be easier for you to assess and choose the one that you feel is the most qualified. 3.Do you have a list of your references? It is not just enough to hear an artist telling you how long they have been in the business. It is crucial that you ask for more proof, which could also be in the form of a portfolio or talking to their past and current clients. It is okay to ask for a list of references for each artist or workshop that you have on your list before you can decide to work with them. This way, you will get a different and independent opinion about them.

  2. 4.Will you work on my request? Some artists may sub-contract their work to others. Therefore, it is important that you know of this beforehand. If you are not okay with someone else working on your request, make them know this.
