The Project Team Responsible Group: Hospital Committee Set up as an act of Parliament Sri Lanka Cancer Society - Act No 10 of 1997 (Certified on 24th June 1997) The Committee Reports to the Director of the Hospital The Committee is comprised of both Public and Private Sector Officials -- making this project the Public – Private Partnership Initiative The Hospital Committee will collect, manage funds for the purpose of constructing the Cancer Treatment Centre at the Kandy Hospital

Collection of Funds • Owner of Funds – Hospital Committee • Nominated Banks are Commercial Bank and the Bank of Ceylon • The authorized person(s) to acknowledge receipt of funds is the executive committee comprised of the President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Cancer Treatment Center • All donors will receive an official receipt within a month for the funds donated • For convenience, a payment gateway has been set up via the Commercial Bank and Bank of Ceylon • Since this is a government approved public – private partnership project, as per the tax code, donations are tax deductible. • Names of all donors and the amount donated will be listed on the Project website at the option of the donor (Name only and or Name and Amount)
