How Can We Help the Homeless in Our Community? • We can help the homeless in our community by giving to the homeless shelters in our county. • All they need is food, cleaning supplies, or some bed sheets as blankets. • A place where you can give all of this stuff to is the Lighthouse of Oakland County. Who already helps to fill this need? • The need is that we don't think about how many people need basic things. • They need all the basics; food money hygiene supplies and a place to live in. • Lots of places and people that help fill this need are regular people like us that volunteer. • love to help people who are less fortunate than us so they know what they need for their everyday lives.   4. What talents or treasures are given or shared? • Doctors who come and help the homeless for free once a week(Medical care) or, teachers that come and teach the homeless. What is the reward for the one who shared? • The reward from the one who shared is being proud of giving up their time and teaching the homeless. • The goodness that the community experiences from the giving or sharing is that they can go and/or get a job.
