  1. Is It Good To Take BCAA If I Don’t Consume Whey Protein You can take BCAA by itself and there are products in the market. BCAA is Branch Chained Amino Acids and is comprised of Valine, Isoleucine, and Leucine. These amino acids are required for muscle growth and repair. Whey protein contains more amino acids, also known as Essential Amino Acids (EAA) that are needed for muscle development. So, based on your goal you can decide what you want to take. There are plenty of products in the market. Selecting the best protein powder with BCAA in India is confusing and it is best to compare products first. I usually use the site Wikisheets to compare products. Many products contain Soy, vegetable fats and oils, natural and artificial flavouring substances, etc. and you need to read the contents well before selecting a product. One thing to remember is that flavoured protein powders (such as chocolate, vanilla, etc.) tend to contain more additives in them. Always check if the product has undergone testing. You should also check for the authenticity of the product on the website of the brand. Most products have a hologram on the packet. Various brands contain different protein quantities per scoop. It is good to select a brand that has more protein per scoop.
