  1. What I know for sure… So, this should be brief 

  2. There is a God. He is my Father Is 63:16b “Thou, o Lord, art our Father, our Redeemer from of old is Thy name.” Mt 6:9 “Pray then this way, ‘Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name…” 1 Pet 1:3 “Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope….” Jude 1”…to those who are called beloved in God the Father & kept for Jesus Christ.”

  3. Jesus is His only begotten Son Ps 2:7 “Thou are My Son, today I have begotten Thee.” Mt 1: 24a,25a “And Joseph…kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus.” Mt 3:17 “This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” Mt 16:16 “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jn 1:14 “And the Word became flesh…”

  4. He died & rose from the dead Jn 3:15 “…that whoever believes may in Him have eternal life.” Jn 5:21 “For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.” 1Tm 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called…: 1 Jn 2:25 “And this is the promise He made to us, eternal life.”

  5. The Holy Spirit is always with me • Jn 14: 16, 18 & 26 “And I will ask the Father & He will give you another Helper (Counselor) that He may be with you forever. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. And the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”

  6. When I’m looking for wisdom, Steve will make a wise crack… • Eph 5:15 “Be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise…” • Mic 6:9 “It is wisdom to fear the Lord.” • Jm 1:5 “If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously…” • Jm 3:13 “Who among you is wise & understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.”

  7. Jesus is coming back soon! • Phil 3:20 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus…” • 1Thes 4:16 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout…and the dead in Christ shall rise first…” • 1Pet 5:4 “And when the Chief Shepherd appears (again) you will receive thecrown of glory.” • 1Jn 3:2 “When he appears,… we shall see Him as He is.”

  8. When I’m caught in the people pleasing trap, the only one it works with is Sarah Prv 16:7 “When a man’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” 2 Cor 5:9 “Therefore we have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.” Eph 5:8b &10 “…walk as children of light…trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.”

  9. The challenge… • What do you know for sure?

  10. Be blessed… • “The Lord your God is with you; His power gives you victory. The Lord will take delight in you, and in His love He will give you new life. He will sing and be joyful over you, as joyful as people at a festival.” (Zeph 3:17) • ******* • “Be anxious for nothing but in eveything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6)
