  2. INTRODUCTION • Pregnancy brings happiness in everyone’s family, and family members will eagerly wait for the new member’s arrival. When you’re pregnant, you will get a mix of feelings. Both good and bad thoughts come during your pregnancy. If you ever feel alone, worried and thinking that you are the only one suffering from loneliness, then you’re wrong because you are not alone. Anxiety is common for every woman’s first pregnancy. Even if you’re not unplanned for getting pregnant then it will be harder to deal with depression or anxiety. On the other hand, if you getting pregnant with the help of fertility treatment, then you get more worry about your pregnancy.

To help yourself and to take care of your baby’s health, you should take care of your own health as much as you can. • Make sure to take healthy foods, meditation, exercise, prenatal vitamins, and get a nice sleep. If you ever feel alone, sad, nervous, or worried, talk to someone about it. • When you talk with someone, you can get good positive vibes, and it will make you relief from all the negative thoughts.

  4. What Feelings Can Happen? • Have you seen a pregnant woman, they get mood swings often. Sometimes, they look happy, and the other time, they will be sad or angry without any reason. During pregnancy, mood swings are common and normal. But if you feel down all the time, then it will cause some serious issues in the future.

Few pregnant women may have depression, worry, anxiety, or nervousness: • Depression is gloom, unhappiness, feeling down, worry, or irritable for months at a time. • Few pregnant women get depressed before they get pregnant. • Depression starts during pregnancy because of many reasons including, she may not happy about the pregnancy, stress at work, stress at home, or dealing with sudden physical change.

  6. Anxiety happens when you think about something again and again. If you continuously stress yourself, many things can pressure you out during pregnancy.

Other mental health issues faced by pregnant women: • Bipolar disorder is a period of high-energy mania and low-energy depression. • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) • Panic attacks which bring sudden, deep physical reactions with an emotion of unexplained and paralyzing fear • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) • Eating disorders

It is important to treat pregnant woman’s mental health because if they are depressed, anxious, or have another issue, they might not get the medical care they need at the correct time. • If you have a mental health issue, talk with your fertility female doctor. It will help you to get some real suggestions and advices during and after your pregnancy.

How Are Problems Treated? • Treatment for mental health problems may include: • Prescription medicine — Before you start taking and stop taking any medicines during your pregnancy, talk with your doctor always. Get your doctor's suggestions before you take any drugs. And don’t stop taking any medicines without consulting your doctor. Some medicines may cause side effects or other problems for babies, but sometimes stopping your medicine can cause more trouble.

  10. Talk therapy — Talk with your loved ones because when you talk, you feel good about yourself. When you feel worried and depressed, talk one-on-one with a therapist. It can help you deal with worries over raising a child and other stresses in your life. • Another approaches — Do yoga, meditation, and exercise during your pregnancy period. Some people feel comfortable talking with friends, family members, or partners.
