  2. Lesson Objectives • To explore a variety of drugs commonly used by young people • To discuss and record how these drugs can impact on your health, family life, work and education • To introduce students to drug addiction support agencies

  3. Activity 1: How many drugs can you think of? • List as many drugs as you can, use the activity 1 handout to record your answers • Include all the different names for drugs on your sheet • Think about legal drugs as well as illegal drugs Use the activity 1 handout to note your answers

  4. Common Drugs: • Marijuanaclick the links to find out more • Heroin • Cocaine • Alcohol • LSD • Ecstasy • Smoking (nicotine) • Glue/Aerosols

  5. Activity 2: List how drugs can effect your life Remember to think about: • Personal life • Work life • College life • Relationships • Health Use the activity 2 handout to note your answers
