  3. Great Old Broads for Wilderness is a national grassroots organization, led by women, that engages and inspires activism to preserve and protect wilderness and wild lands.

  5. Fighter Jets, (Growlers) are drowning out the natural sounds and exceptional quiet of this unique temperate rainforest.

  6. The Navy proposes electronic warfare activities in the marine sanctuary area and is requesting a continuation of “incidental takes of threatened and endangered marine mammals and other marine species”.

  7. The Navy’s Environmental Impact Statement • Proposes increase in fighter jet training for electronic warfare up to 5000 flights annually over the coastal wilderness the marine sanctuary, the Hoh Rain forest, Hurricane ridge, and Lake Crescent. • Growler noise levels range from 80-90 decibels similar to garbage disposals and lawn mowers. • Endangered species land and marine animals are at risk The public can comment until June 12
