Elements of a Paragraph • Thesis Sentence- Also referred to as the topic sentence or main idea of the paragraph. • Three supporting Sentences- These sentences support the topic sentence by giving reasons, examples or facts. • Conclusion Sentence- This sentence ends the paragraph by recapping, making connections to the main idea.
