  1. Prevention of Diseases in Gynecology it’s Caring Woman's Body Gynecological disorders affect the internal and external organs in the female pelvic and abdominal areas. These disorders include menstruation), vulvodynia (unexplained chronic discomfort or pain of the vulva), and chronic pelvic pain. Almost every woman suffers from gynecological disease once in her lifetime. Many gynecological diseases recur several times and leave serious complications affecting reproductive health. They can even cause women infertility. Understanding the common gynecological diseases help women be more proactive in preventing and minimizing adverse consequences. dysmenorrhea (pain associated with General Gynaecological issues: ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Ovarian cysts. 2. Ovarian Cysts An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac within the ovary. Often they cause no symptoms. Occasionally they may produce bloating, lower abdominal pain, or lower back pain. The majority of cysts are harmless. If the cyst either breaks open or causes twisting of the ovary, it may cause severe pain. This may result in vomiting or feeling faint. Pelvic Pain Pelvic pain can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include constipation, pregnancy, full bladder, sexual pain, menstruation or trauma. Endometriosis A disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. With endometriosis, the tissue can be found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes or the intestines. The most common symptoms are pain and menstrual irregularities. Effective treatments, such as hormones and excision surgery. Uterine fibroids Uterine fibroids are frequently found incidentally during a routine pelvic exam. Symptoms include heavy menstrual bleeding, prolonged periods and pelvic pain. In some cases, there are no symptoms. Non-cancerous growths in the uterus that can develop during a woman's childbearing years. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) A hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. The cause of polycystic ovary syndrome isn't well understood, but may involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Acne and Abnormal female hair distribution. Many times, the condition is linked to high levels of male hormones (called androgens). It's normal for women's bodies to make these, and low levels don't cause excess hair growth. But when these amounts are too high, they can cause hirsutism and other things, like acne, a deep voice, and small breasts. Genital tract infections Genital tract infections are a common cause of reduced fecundability and sterility. Pathogens can ascend the female reproductive tract after vaginal entry, and cause inflammation and subsequent scarring. Vulva and vagina skin disorders Some of the skin disorders that affect the vulva include folliculitis, contact dermatitis, Bartholin gland cysts, lichen simplex chronicus, lichen sclerosus, and lichen planus. Preparing your body To get the best results from the physical exam part of your visit, it is important to do the following: ● Make sure you will not have your period during your visit; it is best to schedule your exam for one to two weeks after your period ● Do not douche or use other vaginal preparations for two to three days before your exam ● Do not have vaginal sex or sexual intercourse for 24 hours before your exam ● Wash your vaginal and rectal areas (your bottom) with water and soap or body wash before your exam www.seedsivf.com
