As participants in this meeting, we need to be mindful of the constraints of antitrust laws. • There shall be no discussions of agreements or concerted actions that may restrain competition. • This prohibition includes the exchange of information concerning pricing, rates, coverages, market practices or any other competitive aspect of an individual company’s operation. • Each participant is obligated to speak up immediately for the purpose of preventing any discussion falling outside these bounds. AREA and Atheer Panel – Wed 29th at 7.30am You are invited to an exciting, upcoming breakfast and Augmented Reality panel - jointly hosted by the Augmented Reality Enterprise Alliance (AREA) and Atheer. It will be held from 7:30 AM to 9 AM on May 29, 2019 at the Atheer offices in Santa Clara (located less than two miles from the Santa Clara Convention Center where AWE is being held): Suite #1200, 2350 Mission College BlvdSanta Clara, CA 95054 The panel, moderated by AREA executive director Mark Sage, will feature insights and ideas about Augmented Reality in the automotive and manufacturing sectors from: * Salim Murr, the former Department Head of Technical Service at BMW of North America and a member of Atheer's advisory board* Amar Dhaliwal, CEO of Atheer* Dirk Frese, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at JULABO USA, a leading temperature control equipment manufacturer that recently deployed augmented reality. Breakfast will be available from 7:30 AM, the panel will start at 7:45 AM and will finish by 8:15 AM - ensuring that those who need to get the opening AWE keynote. Guests are welcome to stay after the panel until 9 AM. Make sure you register here so that we can take note of your food preferences and get an accurate count of how many will be joining us!

AREA and PTC LiveWorx AR Workshop • Specialised interactive, hands-on training 1hr 45min workshop session to be delivered by the AREA at the PTC LiveWorx event in June 2019, Boston. • Targeting ~50 participants - Manager level and above. • Agreed outline of the workshop: • Why you should care about AR • An interactive workshop focussing on the barriers to adoption and RoI: • AR Barriers to Adoption Working Session • Hands on ROI Calculator Bootcamp Training • The AREA will lead the work on the planning, logistics, content creation and delivery of the session both in the run-up to and on-site. • PTC will provide logistical support and resources, venue set-up, reach-out and invitation lead and co-promotion. • Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Newport News and Strategy Analytics supporting.

AREA and McKinsey showcase - update • Still going ahead – looking for new date in 2019 • Target audience enterprise organisations focused on manufacturing (sourced by McKinsey) with the AREA providing the speakers and supplier / demonstrators. • Introduction from McKinsey - A welcome from our hosts and an overview of their offering in the AR manufacturing space. • Getting started in AR - An introduction to what it means to get started on the AR journey; challenges to anticipate, key use cases, case studies and benefits, potential rewards and opportunities, barriers to adoption. • Understanding the barriers to AR adoption - Overview into the barriers to AR adoption and how to overcome them. This will be set against a backdrop of traditional change management. • 20 min provider overviews - AREA Provider members provide “hands on” demos. • Wrap up - Key lessons learnt and next steps • Networking - More demos, discussion and general networking
