  2. We have compiled a list of things that you should check before sending your car, van or 4x4 to the mot station. If the car has one of the major issues and is old you my decided to scrap the said vehicle, a popular search term last week was scrap car derby which is very similar to scrap my car derby yet they both yield different results so be sure to check both sets of search results when entering a phrase into a search engine

  3. Things to check for if your vehicle requires a mot Check the tires to start with, look for worn edges and splits in the tire. Check that all of the bulbs are working Check your fluid levels and check that the washer jets are working Check your registration plate is visible and not damaged Check for any cracks or chips in the windscreen Check wipers clear the screen Check the horn works

Check the mirrors are in place, if your glass has broken off your wing mirror get a stick on replacement Check that the exhaust is secure and in place not dragging or drooping in any way Check the handbrake, make sure it is doing what it is supposed to do Ensure all seat belts do up and click in to the locking position Checking these will ensure that the basic parts of the mot will be passed and should you require to repair any of the parts failed in our checklist you can do so before sending your vehicle to the mot station.
