YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED BECAUSE THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR HAS DETERMINED THAT YOU ARE: • One who has the ability to instruct and train • One who has a vision for greater service to mankind • One who can inspire and motivate Club Presidents • One who has the ability to clearly communicate • One who shares the District Governors passion for Lions Clubs International • One who is dedicated to building the Lions Clubs in your zone • One who give MAXIMUM EFFORT to every task at hand

  3. Club Success Coach • You will work with 3-5 Lions Clubs to implement the “It’s All about ME – Maximum Effort Program • The Maximum Effort Program is designed to insure that each Lions Club in our District is healthy, vibrant, serving and growing

  5. Looking to the Past to Improve the Future! • Lions Club Membership has been decreasing for the past decade • Membership involvement has decreased • The less fortunate within our community are going unserved • Many Lions Clubs have been dissolved

  6. Change is Coming!! A new day is dawning!! That is not the sunset. Rather, it is the sun rising on another great period of growth, service, and commitment. YOU ARE THE KEY TO OUR SUCCESS! Will you join me in becoming agents of change?

  8. BEFORE WE GET TO SPECIFICS TEAM BUILDER GOAL SETTER SET THE EXAMPLE MOTIVATE COMMUNICATE

STEPS TO SUCCESS • SET YOUR FIRST ZONE MEETING BEFORE LABOR DAY • MAKE PERSONAL CONTACT WITH ALL CLUB PRESIDENTS • ZONE MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED LIONS • AGENDA ITEMS: • MAXIMUM EFFORT PROGRAM – CLUB PROGRESS • REVIEW RESULTS OF “RATE YOUR CLUB” SURVEY • REVIEW RESULTS OF “COMMUNITY NEEDS” SURVEY • ALLOW CLUBS TO IDENTIFY TRAINING NEEDS • SET ZONE TRAINING SCHEDULE (MEET EVERY 4-6 WEEKS UNTIL CLUB HEALTH IMPROVED

REVIEW ZONE GOALS • EVERY CLUB HAVE MAXIMUM EFFORT TEAM IN PLACE • EVERY CLUB HAVE COMPLETED “RATE YOUR CLUB” AND “COMMUNITY NEEDS” SURVEYS • EVERY CLUB TO HAVE A CLUB GOAL SETTING MEETING PRIOR TO OCTOBER 1 • MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP GAIN • DECREASE IN AVERAGE AGE • ONE NEW HANDS ON SERVICE PROJECT • CLUB REPRESENTED AT ALL ZONE, REGION, DISTRICT AND MULTIPLE DISTRICT MEETINGS • ASSIST IN THE FORMATION OF ONE NEW CLUB IN THE ZONE

  11. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE MEETING • COMPLETE THE PAPERWORK • DA-ZCM REPORT OF ZONE MEETING • SEND COPY OF REPORT TO DG, RC, GMT, AND GLT • IDENTIFY TRAINING TOPICS FOR FUTURE ZONE MEETINGS • SCHEDULE TIME TO MEET WITH EACH CLUB INDIVIDUALLY • REQUEST ASSITANCE FROM RC, GMT, AND GLT FOR ADVANCED TRAINING ISSUES

  12. ADDITIONAL TRAINING • GMT/GLT WILL OFFER ADDITIONAL GROUP TRAINING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR • REGION CHAIRS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TO ASSIST YOU IN EACH STEP • CLUBS WILL HAVE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AT ZONE, REGION, DISTRICT, AND STATE MEETINGS
