  1. IRBNetThe implementation ofIRBNet will assist the UTEP community to comply with UT System Policy UTS 108 on Affiliation Agreements. IRBNet will provide secure, web-based collaboration tools to support the submission request, management, review and processing of Educational Experience Affiliation and Program Agreements • This guide will assist the requestor with UT standard and Non-UT standard Affiliation Agreement submissions. • UT Standard submissions must be entered three months prior to effective date to allow for external processing time • Non-UT submissions must be entered six months prior to effective date to allow for internal and external legal review/processing • All required standard UT forms are readily available within IRBNet for downloading, viewing, filling out and uploading for submission.

IRBNet Initial Submission Training Tool After reviewing this presentation, a submitter will know how to: • Log into IRBNet • Access the Study Manager • Build an Electronic Package • Share a Package with Designated Personnel • Communicate with Your Team • Sign the Submission • Submit the Package for Review/Processing • Access Final Executed Documentation

  3. Study Manager: This view provides you with a quick access to all of your projects.

  4. Click on “New Project” to create and submit an Affiliation Agreement

  5. Build Your Project PackageStep 1: Provide basic information about your project Facility Name, Program Director/Coordinator City, State Program/Department College

  6. Omit Step 1

  7. Attach Document Choose “OTHER” Please enter the document description as: Facility Information Form (FIF) Educational Experience Affiliation Agreement (EEAA) 3. Program Agreement (PA) OR If a non-UT form is requested by Facility: Upload Facility Information Form (FIF) 2. Non-UT Facility Form

  9. Submitter /Author will share the submission with required personnel. Once received, all respective parties will review and electronically sign the submission.

  10. Automatically defaults to UTEP, click on “Select Organization”.

  11. Enter the 1st three letters of the person’s last name Once the appropriate person has been found in the directory, grant that person “FULL” access and enter the following comment, “The required documents for a Program Agreement have been uploaded. Please review at your convenience and secure your review with an electronic signature”.

  12. The submitter will sign as “Author” and route to appropriate personnel. Department Heads/Coordinators who are not ‘submitters’will sign as “Department Representatives” and the Dean will sign as “Department Head”.

  13. Submit Your Package for Review Please ensure to select the correct “Board”. In this case look for University of Texas at El Paso Affiliation Agreements

  14. Submit for Processing Select submission Type: New Agreement Amended /Modified Agreement Termination

  15. Receive Your Package StatusReview decisions are available in real time from your Project Overview. Click on “Review Details” for more details.

  16. Details include Agenda Date, Review Type, Status, Effective and Expiration Dates, and Board Documents.
