  1. Sexual Dysfunction Treatment Sexual dysfunction affects up to 31% of middle-aged and older men, but female sexual dysfunction has a larger prevalence (43%) than sexual dysfunction, although being researched less intensively. Increased diagnosis and accompanying health-care expenditures for the therapy of this widespread condition have resulted from demographic changes, the adoption of novel treatments, and a better awareness of sexual dysfunction by patients and society. For many people, especially those in poor health, sexual health and pleasure with sex life are critical parts of quality of life. Because many patients are hesitant to bring up the subject of their sexual lives, doctors should bring it up immediately in order to elicit a history of sexual dysfunction. A typical element of the clinician visit should include addressing sexual health. DISEASE OF SEXUAL FUNCTIONING SEXUAL RESPONSE PHYSIOLOGY

  2. (1)A sufficient libido, (2)The ability to generate and maintain a penile erection, (3)Ejaculation, and detumescence are all examples of normal sexual function. Libido is a term for sexual desire that is impacted by a range of cues including visual, olfactory, tactile, auditory, imaginative, and hormonal. The use of sex steroids, particularly testosterone, can boost libido. Emotional background, systemic sickness, hormone changes, psychological illnesses, and drugs can all reduce libido. Men's sexual issues include: Inability to get or keep a good erection during sexual activity (also called erectile dysfunction or ED) A lack of desire for sex (diminished libido) Ejaculation that occurs too soon Ejaculation is slowed or stopped. Peyronie's disease (penile curvature) Increased blood flow into the lacunar network, as well as full relaxation of the arteries and corporal smooth muscle, are required for penile tumescence leading to erection. The corpora's microarchitecture is made up of a smooth muscle mass (trabecula) that contains a network of endothelial-lined capillaries (lacunar spaces). The trabecular smooth muscle is then compressed against the fibroelastic tunica albuginea, causing the emissary veins to close and blood to accumulate in the corpora. The corpora become noncompressible cylinders from which blood cannot escape in the presence of a full erection and a functioning valve system. The result of this relaxation and venous blockage is a stiff erection. The central nervous system (CNS) has a significant impact on erectile function and ejaculation by either activating or inhibiting spinal pathways that mediate these functions. This article goes through some of the most frequent sexual issues and how to deal with them. If you're having sex issues, speak with Dr Vinod Raina, a sexologist. They may be able to assist.
