    9. WARNING ORDERS Cadets will receive an oral operations order in class on lesson 12 and 17. They will prepare a squad warning order in class focused on the following: General situation Tentative Mission Earliest Time of Move Time/Place of OPORD Special Instructions/General Instructions

OPORDs Cadets will prepare two squad OPORDs consisting of a concept sketch and a pre-formatted OPORD The concept sketch will be completed during the recon lesson In the next lesson cadets will complete a pre-formatted OPORD focused on the mission statement, concept of the operation, maneuver (actions on the objective/engagement area), coordinating instructions, CASEVAC and location of key leaders (C2)

CORE-LS Divide Material into 5 blocks Planning Tools: OPORD/WARNO formats, TLP tools, METT-TC examples Graphics: Interactive instruction on graphic control measure knowledge Defense: Sequence of the Defense, EA Development Offense: Sequence of the Offense, Urban OPNs Exploratory Learning: Selected historical and recent operational articles Intent—Provide cadets a ready reference for use throughout the course with practical tools and instruction for the completion of operations orders
