OSH TEA TALKS BY MSOSH & PERKESO Disablement and Invalidity Questions during SOCSO Medical Boards Supported by: Organized by MSOSH & PERKESO MSOSH DOSH PERKESO INTRODUCTION TARGET GROUPS OBJECTIVES • Understanding about relevant statutory requirements in the general duties of employees. • Have in depth information and knowledge in safe work practices toward creating safety and health awareness. • Be able to train other workers in creating safe work practices • All levels of employees in PERKESO. • Safety and Health Committee Members • Worker Representatives & Union Members • Supervisors Tea talks on OSH are organized by MSOSH to facilitate the dissemination of OSH related information for a better understanding and application by the relevant players in the public and private sectors with the ultimate goal of reducing work related injuries and fatalities. VENUE: DEWAN KRISTAL Tingkat 4, Wisma PERKESO, Jalan Persekutuan, Malacca (MITC) Ayer Keroh Date: 7 June 2012 (Thursday) Time: 3pm – 5pm PAYMENT All Cheque/Postal Order/Money Order should be crossed and made payable to “Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health” Any cancellation must be made before the closing date. Presenter Mr. Chan Hood Cheng is a management committee to the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health. Currently he is holding the position of Manager Customer Services HQ and has been with the Organisation since 1977. Besides SOCSO, he also lectures for THE NATIONAL INSTITUUE OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (NIOSH), THE SCHOOL OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, GENERAL HOSPITAL KL AND MALAYSIAN INSTITUE OF INSURANCE (MII). HE also had published articles on Social Security and attended International Conferences in London, Perth, Jakarta, Tanzania, Hongkong, China, Bangkok and Mauratius.
