Tokyo Tower, Ultimate Guided Tour Tokyo tower, standing in the middle of Tokyo is the world`s largest steel tower standing on its self-support and is about three meters taller than that its model. From the time of its completion in 1958 to 2012 it was the tallest tower in Japan later it was surpassed by Tokyo Skytree. Eiffel Tower was regarded as a model during its construction. It’s not only a tower but also a great tourist destination as well as a transmission antenna. Calculations show that almost 150 million people have visited this tower. The tower's lower portion has four-story buildings with museum houses, shops, and restaurants. Moving across this section tourists enter the observation deck. Two sessions of the deck are made. The lower portion or main dick is 150 ft while the top dick lies 819 ft. painting is made every five years, and this process takes almost one year for its completion. Broadcasting Although the construction was not made for broadcasting purposes, later they realize that the building is suitable for broadcasting purposes. Now it’s a member of the world federal of great towers. Many organizations have used it for broadcasting purposes. The structure of the tower was done on purpose for broadcasting television, later observing its capacity for accommodation radio antennas were installed in 1961. Now two FM radio stations remain on this tower. Initially, Japan employs both digital as well as analog broadcasting, but until 2011 all television broadcasting completely changed to digital. The tower is not a reliable source of broadcast antenna for complete digital broadcasting. This is because the tower is not too large to transmit high-frequency waves to areas surrounded by high-rise buildings and forests. To deal with this problem, a new alternative 634-meter-tall tower was opened known as Tokyo Skytree in 2012.

  2. Getting There and Around Onarimon station, akabanebashi station, and kamiyacho stations are the nearest railway stations from where tourists move on foot in 5-10 minutes towards the Tokyo Tower. Alternatively, there are some other stations from where you can reach the tower in 15-20 minutes like Hamamatsucho tower and Daimon station. Attractions A four-story building is constructed at the base of the tower known as Foot Town. The aquarium gallery, reception hall, family mart, convenience store, and tower restaurant having a capacity of 400 people are included on the first floor. Direct ride to the main observatory is served by three elevators. Food and shopping areas are reserved on the second floor. Food reserved on the second floor possesses four restaurants including MacDonalds and Pizza-la. Several tourist attractions are found on the third and fourth-floor houses. World record museum Tokyo is home to the third floor. The museum has a collection of life-size figures, photo panels, and other memorabilia interesting records. The last floor of the building appoints a small park having small rides and live performances for children. Visitors can access the roof through the outside stairwell on holidays and vacations. This 660-step stairwell direct leads to the main observatory. Tokyo Tower Observation Deck Two observation decks are there in Tokyo Tower. One point is major while the other is on top. The small observation point lies at 150 meters while the larger or top observation point is 250 meters. Both these points offer views as far as others like Skytree and mount fuji on a clear day. From the top deck, tourists can enjoy the best view of Tokyo along with hospitality being part of the tour. The Skywalk window is a glass floor on the main observation deck where you can walk with a cup of tea in your hand and live music show on a stage. Observation ducks are really appealing for tourists especially children when they see downward from 150 meters height. Although the glass floor is made up of reinforced hard glass which is heat resistant and can withstand a weight of 1.5 tons. The floor is safe enough for children to jump on the glass. But due to height, just standing on the glass floor cause your legs to shake like a leaf with fear. Besides the elevator, stairs leading toward the observation deck are a big challenge for those with stamina.

The daytime visit gives an extensive view of the city while the night tour provides breathtaking. Why Tokyo Tower is famous?
