  1. RUDRABHISHEK PUJA Rudra is another name of Lord Shiva. And Lord Shiva expresses his gentleness and aggressiveness through many forms. Out of various forms, he prefers the Rudra form, an aggressive form, demolishes the evil for the sake of the goodness to the world. Hence, Rudrabhishek puja concentrates on winning the good over the immoral activities. It is believed that the word ‘Rudra’ came into existence because of his famous Rudra Tandav dance. It is an extremely tough and robust dance performed by Lord Shiva in cremation grounds. Coming back to rudrabhishek puja. It is believed to be an extremely important puja to get rid of the evil activity or person in this world. Taking place in Shravan month which falls between July and August, Lord Shiva is worshipped by giving him a sacred bath along with other necessary materials required for the pooja. There are no constraints in the timeline and this puja can be held either in the morning or the evening as well. Even though many prefer to perform this puja in the temple, it can also be performed in the house as it does not require much time. Some perform regular rudrabhishek puja, while the other set performs puja based on 6 specialities. This is based on the requirements for an individual or a particular family. TYPES OF RUDRABHISHEK PUJA: The six types of Rudrabhishek puja are: JAL ABHISHEK: If jal Abhishek is performed, Lord Shiva will reward them with more water and fulfil their desires. DUDH ABHISHEK: If an individual pours milk on the shivling and worships, it is believed that the individual will be blessed with longevity. SHAHAD ABHISHEK: A devotee can live a life without problems and with peace if they pour honey on the Shivling. PANCHAMRIT ABHISHEK: Similar to dudh and shahad, if a devotee pours panchamrit on the Shivling, they will be blessed with wealth and prosperity in their life. GHEE ABHISHEK: This helps the devotee to stay from any health or physical problems. DAHI ABHISHEK: Dahi Abhishek helps the couples who are not blessed with a baby.

  2. WHY E-PUJA? Over the last few years, E-puja has taken over some countries by storm. In addition to India, countries like Nepal and Myanmar have started to worship the god, thanks to the coronavirus situation which has forced the Government to impose some restrictions including social distancing, etc. Kickstarted in 2015, E-Puja has become a revelation where the fans get to view the pooja through the video call. Since the establishment, it has been used by millions of devotees. However, it rapidly caught fire over the last few months due to the coronavirus situation all over the world. Almost all the pujas are available for the devotees. The cost varies depending on two deciding factors – time required to complete the puja and the materials required to conduct the puja. Online puja booking is available for rudrabhishek puja as well. Apart from pooja, homam is also available for the devotees. Bookings are available in various temples all over the country.
