  2. What are Yearbooks ? An annual documentary, historical, or memorial publication containing information Yearbooks are annual documentary, historical, or memorial publications containing information about the previous year. Yearbooks are usually shelved in the reference collection.

Most Libraries and Universities will have the statesman yearbook available through their database for their patrons and students.

  5. Science & Technology (Print Version) The McGraw-Hill Yearbook has been recognized as the leading international scientific encyclopedia. It serves as the continuing reference needs of professionals, students, librarians, technical writers, editors and the general public. Alphabetization (Agriculture – Zoology) Cross-Reference – every article has one or more cross-references set in CAPITALS and SMALL CAPITALS. The references offer the user the option of seeking other articles in the book for related information. Measurement Units - the volume is set for readers who prefer the U.S. Customary system or the International System of Units (SI), most measurements in the Encyclopedia are given in dual units. The measurement system and its conversion tables are located in the Appendix.

Science & Technology Contributors – the author of each article is specified and its conclusion in the form of the contributor’s full name and affiliation may be found in the “Contributor” section at the front of the volume. Bibliographies and Data Bases - Titles are grouped by subject area. Data bases listed provides the names of the data bases, a description of its contents, and the names of the producer and distributor. Appendix – the appendix includes measurement tables, mathematical notation, electronic symbols, a detailed periodic table, abbreviations, taxonomic classification, and a biographical listing of scientists. Index – the index offers over 30,000 entry index offers the reader the time saving convenience of being able to quickly turn to the index rather than encyclopedia via article titles only.
