Capturing Video: • 1) Connect Camera to computer & Open MovieMaker • 2) Turn the camera on to Playback Mode & Left Click on File Capture Video • 3) Choose capture video from device & Enter a File name • 4) Choose a place to save your captured video • 5) Choose Video Setting / Quality • 6) Choose Capture Method • 7) To Begin, Click Start Capture and to Pause, Click Stop Capture • 8) When done, Click on Finish Link to Video Showing How to Capture

Resizing Clips: • Trimming Clips: • Left Click on the Clip • Move the cursor to the end of the Clip / Picture • Click and Drag the Handles in • Stretching Clips: • Left Click on the Clip • Move the cursor to the end of the Clip / Picture • Click and Drag the Handles out • Tip: Zoom in and out for Exactness

Adjusting Volume on a Clip: • Fade In / Out / Mute: • Left Click on the Video Clip • From the menu bar, Left Click on Clip • Choose Audio • Choose Fade in / Fade Out / Mute • Adjusting the Volume: • Left Click on the Video Clip • From the menu bar, Left Click on Clip • Choose Audio • Choose Volume... • Adjust and Left Click Ok

  48. Creating Voiceovers: • 1) Add Graphic and Video Clip • 2) Under Timeline, Click to Expand Video • 3) Copy Audio Clip from Audio/ Music & Paste on Audio • 4) Mute Top Video Clip • 5) Shorten the Top Video Clip so that the Video & Graphic are the same as the Audio you copied expanded

Adding Transitions: • To Create a Fade Transition: • In Timeline View, drag the bottom half of the Clip / Pics • A horizonal Blue line should appear • Other Transitions: • In StoryBoard View, Left Click on CollectionGo up to Transition • Preview a Transition by Double Clicking on it • Choose the Transition you want • Drag it down in between the two Clips
