Imagine a time when… • You can choose to make your travel arrangements either independently online or through a travel agent • You have more than one travel agency option and can search a comprehensive airfare inventory • You have a direct bill payment option for airfare with both Connexxus agencies • Traveler insurance is automatically registered upon completion of the travel booking • Travel agency fees are reduced • Real time access to UC negotiated discounts for airfares, hotels and car rentals at the time of booking Connexxus is your web portal for arranging business-related travel for faculty, staff, and hosted guests of UC Irvine

What is Connexxus? • Secure web portal for booking travel • Systemwide Initiative • UC negotiated discounts on airlines, hotels and car rentals Why use Connexxus? • UCI’s preferred method for making travel arrangements • One stop shopping • Online booking tool utilization mean lower transaction fees • Direct bill airfare with both Connexxus agencies • Travel data for sourcing

Connexxus Value Added Benefits • 24 hour grace period to void non-refundable tickets through Connexxus • Non-refundable unused ticket management system - unused ticket information visible in the traveler profile to be applied for future travel needs • Complimentary room upgrades (when available) with Connexxus preferred hotels • Late check-out (4pm) at Starwood Hotels for Connexxus users • Free car class upgrade when available for Connexxus preferred car renters (hybrids included) • Automatically enrolled with UC Traveler Insurance if booked through Connexxus – no forms to submit • Security advisements sent to travelers if an incident occurs prior to trip date, or if travelers are in affected area and need relocation or evacuation services • Small business travel agency program for travelers using federal contract or EPA grants More Connexxus value added benefits are posted on UCI’s travel webpage

  7. First time users – Create New Account • Log into Connexxus from UCI Travel Web page • Travel Website

  8. Connexxus Profile First Time Users • Go to My Profile • Verify Name • Designate Travel Arrangers • Enter optional personal information • Enter any loyalty program membership numbers (i.e. frequent flyer)
