Programme • Day 1 • Talk by FDA employee and ex-ISPE student member • Networking lunch with students and ISPE members/mentors • Training on interview skills • Networking with other industry players • Day 2 • Keynote sessions • Facility of the year award (FOYA) • Presentation by Dr Bogoch (Harvard Medical School) • Presentation by Dr Rago (WHO) • Presentation by Dr Ricco (NASA) • Poster competition • Networking with industry players at the exhibition hall • Day 3 • Membership luncheon • Student poster competition award ceremony • Introduction to the new ISPE EXCO committee

Other Student Chapters • General Overview • Averageof70 members per chapter per college • ISPE is highly regarded among the students in the US • Students recognize the vast opportunities in joining • ISPE (Networking, potential job opportunities, platform for learning) • Serves as an active link between students and the industry players

Other Student Chapters Lessons Learnt • Mass email to all students • Highlighting the importance of joining ISPE Recruitment • Bimonthly ISPE events • Fun/social events • Sponsorship to attend ISPE events • Yearly breakfast seminar • Communication via email, flyers, websites, word of mouth Engagement • Young professionals network Retention

Recommendations Based on the same model… • Actively engaging schools to be part of this recruitment process • Career talks/fairs in schools • Branding of ISPE catered to local students • Angle recruitment at the students highlighting explicitly, the long and short term benefits of joining ISPE Recruitment • Regular ISPE events for students • Fun/social events • Sponsorship to attend ISPE events • Exposure to ISPE events/industry talks centered around students • Pre-graduation education • Simplifying technical jargons in circular Engagement • Continual communication • Continual education Retention
