  2. Dear Parents, Welcome to the Cordes' Class Web Site (to be named later.)I hope everyone has had a joyful and restful break. *In preparing for the second half of the school year please note the following changes.   I am implementing several internet resources that I have successfully used in the past. I hope that you will find these resources helpful.   The area below will contain  skills agendas, class updates, online sites,  and a homework section.   As I work with this site, It will be continually changing to meet our classroom needs.   A paper copy of the weekly skills/homework is as always located in the Homework Binder.  The weekly stories and skills are  located in the two red readers.  It will take a week or so to get everything up and working, please be patient. Sincerely, Paula Cordes Clay Elementary Online Sites for School Work Put this in your favorites to have a direct link to our classroom page: http://clayel.jefcoed.com/?PageName=TeacherPage&Page=16&StaffID=255180&iSection=Teachers&CorrespondingID=255180 go jefcoed.com  clay elem then look for Paula Cordes, first grade http://connected.mcgraw-hill.com/connected/login.do This site is our reading series that contains books, homework and skills. Your child should know how to use this site since we use it in the classroom several days a week. www.stridestart.com - Stride Academy is a great place to find many games to learn skills that are being covered in school.  The code were given out before the break.  Students love this site. Please join Edmodo at https://edmo.do/j/zt7ii5   with Group Code 5b8d5w. The Scoot Pad App will provide your child with homework and practice on reading and math skills. Do not give out our personal codes to anyone.  Let me know of any difficulties that you have doing Scoot App.  This is being recommended by Dr. Williams Jefcoed Math Supervisor. If you want extra resources look on Pinterest or Teacherspayteachers.  This is where I get my resources.  Just type in the skill that you want to work with in the search box.  You don't have to print these off unless you want too. It will take a week or so to get everything up and working. Please be patient. Preparing Responsible Individuals Dedicated to Excellence
