  14. CNA NBCP Technical Assistance Updates • Continued to maintain the NBCP NAR platform and expand it to include additional States: • As of November 29, 2018: AL, CO, DC, FL, GA, LA, ME, ND, NM, NV, OH, OR, UT, WV are returning data to participating NBCP NAR states.

  16. NBCP Nurse Aide Registry – Impact *The match count is the number of times that the NNAR returned a match. The match count includes both in-State Nurse Aide Registries as well as all other participating NNAR State match results. In the future, enhanced reporting functionality will include the ability to record where the matches came from (in-State or out-of-State). **The call count is the number of times during the listed period that a State called out TO the NNAR. *** 8/4/17 is the date that reporting capability became available,

Noncriminal Justice Information Technology Security (ITS) Audits • Many of agencies audited were not familiar with the CJIS Security Policy (CSP) and/or the Outsourcing Standard and the required compliance of these documents. • The top four compliance findings were administrative, and can be remediated by creating a policy. • The ITS audit staff has created templates for the required policies found within the CSP.

  24. Legislative Updates A summary of enacted or proposed legislation introduced in the 115th Congress. Division S - Title I – Child Protection Improvements Act (CPIA) Section 101 amends the National Child Protection Act of 1993 (34 U.S.C. § 40101 et seq.). Similar bills were introduced in this Congress as: • HR 695 and • Senate Bill (S) 705 BIPARTISAN BUDGET ACT OF 2018 (Pub. L. 115-123) On February 9, 2018, the President signed former HR 1892.
