  1. Look at the various youth subcultures on the A3 sheet. Identify the following about each subculture. Is it a new subculture or has it been around for a while? What do they look like? What places do they tend to frequent and what leisure activities to they participate in? Discuss their lifestyle. What kids of things would each subculture be identified with? E.g technology, sports etc. What movies, TV shows, bands etc has each subculture appeared in? Do they stick to their own group or do they mix freely? What do your peers, parents and the media think about them? Are these stereotypical images of each subculture? Explain. Now identify three other youth subcultures you are aware of and do questions 1 – 7 on each.
