  1. How to find a Medical case using the Mainframe and MMIS Using WEBM FIND can be a good tool to see what benefits a client has open. However, workers may not be able to see open Medical benefits in WEBM FIND if the client‘s benefits were opened by applying through Cover Oregon or a Fast Track application.

  2. Currently, a medical case with open benefits in the CM system can be identified on WEBM FIND by looking for a “MediElig” date.

  3. Clients who were approved for Medical benefits through Cover Oregon or Fast track will appear in WEBM FIND with a prime number but there will be no case number and no Medi Elig date

  4. By checking MMIS you will see this client does have open benefits

  5. Sometimes when checking CM it will look like the client had an open CM case at one time, but no benefits currently open.

  6. This client does have open Medical in MMIS

  7. Sometimes WEBM FIND will show no open medical but the client has medical that was open and later closed in MMIS

  8. Open Medical on multiple cases When there is more than one medical case open problems with the correct benefit level will result because our eligibility systems (CM and the OHA system) will allow multiple cases, but MMIS it will only allow one case at a time.

  9. In this example, prior to 05/08/14 there are two ongoing cases on the mainframe.

  10. Thisshows that there is also a case open on the OHA System (Stateside Siebel)

  11. Duplicate cases continued When there are multiple cases open in our systems this is what MMIS looks like. When a worker takes an action, the cases switch back and forth. This example has the HIX case starting effective 01/01/14 and then the AFS case takes over, then the SSD case. It ends the previous case the day before the action was taken on the newest case. It closes it on MMIS only, not on the OHA System or the mainframe.

  12. The Client Maintenance Unit (CMU) is always willing to help if you have questions about eligibility in MMIS Contact CMU Phone: 503-378-4369 Fax: 503-373-0357 Email: Client.MAINTENANCE@dhsoha.state.or.us
