  3. BCC Changes of July 2, 2013 • Minimum lot size of 5,000 sq.ft. (lines 35-36) • Zoning permit fee of $12 (lines 37-38) • Coop and pen shall be maintained and repaired as may be necessary (lines 67-68) • Clean the coop and pen on a regular basis (line 69) • Feed shall be kept in rodent proof feeder (line 70) • Failure to comply may result in permit revocation (lines 105-107) • If repealed, hens, coop and pen removed within 5 years (lines 109-111)

  4. Next Steps • Implement ordinance (Effective Date August 15, 2013) • Report to BCC on performance in 1 year

  5. Action Requested • Approve the proposed Back Yard Hens Ordinance, as amended • Remove Lines 99-103 regarding HOA Covenants & Restrictions
