25. 42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you. _42 ถ้าเขาจะขอสิ่งใดจากท่าน ก็จงให้อย่าเมินหน้าจากผู้ที่อยากขอยืมจากท่

26. 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 43 “ท่านทั้งหลายได้ยินคำซึ่งกล่าวไว้ว่า จงรักคนสนิท และเกลียดชังศัตรู

27. 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 44 ฝ่ายเราบอกท่านว่า จงรักศัตรูของท่าน และจงอธิษฐานเพื่อผู้ที่ข่มเหงท่าน

28. 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

42. 21 Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

44. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 22แต่ท่านทั้งหลายจงเป็นคนที่ประพฤติตามพระวจนะนั้น ไม่ใช่เป็นแต่เพียงผู้ฟังเท่านั้น ซึ่งเป็นการลวงตนเอง

45. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 23 เพราะว่าถ้าผู้ใดฟังพระวจนะ และไม่ได้ประพฤติตาม ผู้นั้นก็เป็นเหมือนคนที่ดูหน้าของตัวในกระจกเงา

46. 24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 24 เพราะว่าเมื่อดูตัวเองแล้วก็ไป และก็ลืมในทันทีนั้นว่าตัวเองเป็นอย่างไร

47. 25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

48. 25 แต่ผู้ที่พิจารณาดูในวิสุทธิบัญญัติ ซึ่งเป็นพระบัญญัติแห่งเสรีภาพ และตั้งอยู่ในพระบัญญัตินั้น มิได้เป็นผู้ฟังแล้วก็หลงลืม แต่เป็นผู้ที่ประพฤติปฏิบัติตาม ผู้นั้นก็จะได้รับความสุขเพราะการประพฤติปฏิบัติของตน

49. 26 If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. 26 ถ้าผู้ใดเข้าใจว่าตัวเป็นคนมีธัมมะและมิได้สงบปากคำ แต่หลอกลวงตัวเอง ธัมมะของผู้นั้นก็ไม่มีประโยชน์

50. 27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: To visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep one’s self unstained from the world.
