Lewis Center • 60 Bed Shelter for Individuals (40 male, 20 female) • 6 Beds for LE Drop offs- 48 hour stays • Waitlist of 154 individuals • January 2017 PIT count- 1607 sheltered and unsheltered individuals and families • 10/1/14-9/30/15- 121 permanent placements (with rules) • 10/1/16-9/30/16- 134 permanent placements (moved to no barriers mid May 2016) • 10/1/16-9/30/17- anticipated total 151 permanent placements

LEWIS CENTER BEFORE Drug test upon admission: Must Be Sober Must attend AA/NA Meetings Random Drug Tests Must attend Life Skills Groups If you use, you must go to detox No physical signs of affection, even Shower Daily if married Break a rule, get a personal participant agreement. After receiving two PPAs, Exited!

  4. Lewis Center Today Expectations Now Have a HOUSING PLAN! Partner with us If things are not working, let’s talk about it If someone is asked to leave, it will be only after discussions have taken place with the person, the Case Manager, and Management. This is a last resort.
