  2. WE are to follow the example of Jesus • 1 Cor. 11:1, “Imitate me, as I also imitate Christ.” • 1 Pet. 2:21-23 • 1 John 2:6 • Ephesians 5:1-2 • Disciples

  3. Jesus – His Mission • Matt. 9:13, “For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” • John 12:47, “I did not come to judge the world but to save the world”

  4. Jesus – His Mission • Luke 19:10, “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” • Jesus also died to make our salvation possible

  5. Jesus – His Example • Acts 10:38, “…who went about doing good…” • Matt. 20:28, “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

  16. Jesus – Our Example! • Teach others to teach • 2 Tim. 2:2, “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

  17. Is Jesus our example even in this?
