    2. What is the Culminating Senior Project? The “senior project” has been defined as a culminating high school project that demonstrates your students’ ability to write, speak, acquire and use knowledge, solve problems, and apply a variety of skills, including time management and task analysis. It is a culminating assessment that demonstrates what students know and can do as they prepare to graduate. It prepares them for college and/or the workplace and can help them transform their senior year into one that is uniquely challenging and stimulating.

    3. There are 3 stages to the project: Mentor – Complete a project with the help of a mentor, which demonstrate a learning stretch. Written Analysis –This is a written summary of your learning experience, explaining the process followed and what was learned. Reflecting on the learning process and the learning of the topic. Presentation –This is an oral explanation of your project to a panel of teachers and community members.

    4. How do you the students choose a project?
