  5. Ask Yourself… • What skills do your members need in order to serve effectively? (trainings-reading coaches etc..) • How can you best prepare them for their term in AmeriCorps?(tell them about every aspect of service year) • How can I help them learn how to serve in a team environment?

Required Member Trainings(Can be incorporated into Orientation or throughout the year) • REQUIRED: • CPR/First Aid • Diversity Appreciation • Citizenship • Disability Awareness and Sensitivity • Intro to Disaster & 1 additional training the area of Disaster Preparedness or Response • SUGGESTED: • Teambuilding • Conflict Resolution • Career Development • Life After AmeriCorps
