  2. UK Register of Learning Providers • The UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP) is part of the Managing Information Across Partners initiative, which was set up to streamline the collection, handling and sharing of information on learning and achievement • The UKRLP is a ‘one-stop’ portal of information on learning and training providers. It contains a wide range of data including contact information and course details. • Over 22,000 providers are already registered on the service, which can be accessed at www.ukrlp.co.uk

  3. The UKRLP Service • Learning and training providers can register direct on the UKRLP website • Provider information is independently verified, and the system allocates a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN) to each organisation • The UKRLP allows core information about learning provider services to be shared across the sector and facilitates better exchange of information between systems and services used in the education sector.

  4. UKRLP Information Brokerage • Where the information exists externally about a provider, UKRLP will provide links to that external source of verified information: • A sample of courses obtained through the careers service http://careersadvice.direct.gov.uk/ • UCAS institution profile http://www.ucas.ac.uk/ • For schools in England and Wales, a link to EduBase http://www.edubase.gov.uk/ • Latest Ofsted inspection reports http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/ • Latest school achievement and attainment tables from DCSF http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/performancetables/
