  2. LANDFORMS AND WATER It was located in the central valley. San Jauquin river was an important water source . Turlare lake was divided in three groups.

  3. CLIMATE They had lots of rain and long, hot summers. The precipitation was between 8-32. Wet seasons were in the winter months

  4. PLANTS AS NATURAL RESOURES There was lots of plants, nuts, and berries. There was lots of grasslands and trees. There houses were made out of oak trees..

  5. ANIMALS AS NATRAL RESOURES The Yokut men were excellent hunters. Animals were part of a small diet. Fish were important food. They caught fish with nets. They collected shell fish,geese,and ducks.

  6. TRIBAL BELIFS AND ACTIVITIES They focused on the weather . Hot springs were believed to heal people. Advice healed other tribe members.

  7. INTERESTING FACTS There were two types of houses. Some hold 1-10 families houses. They are owned by the community
