  2. A Veryinteresting Life * Jackie Robinson was born January 31st 1919 in Cairo, Georgia. * Jackie died October 24th 1972. * guess what? Jackie got in a name calling fight with his neighbor and her father heard then started throwing stones at him.

  3. A very challenging childhood!!!!!!!! • Did you know that Jackie went to school with his sister Willa Mae while their mother went to work?!! • Did you know when went to college he got letters from people saying that they want him for their team?!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Jackie's Achievements !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! • Did you know that Jackie Robinson was the first African American to play in the Major Leagues?!!!!!!!! • Also his achievement helped people because years later because African Americans started playing in the Major Leagues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU ARE WONDERING WHY I CHOSE JACKIE ROBINSON?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *I chose this person because I wanted to learn more about Jackie's not just about him breaking the color barrier for example I learned that he is a person that doesn`t care what people say about him all he is doing is his job.!!!!!!!!! * Another reason why I chose him is because he inspired me that it doesn`t matter what other people say.
