  3. When is Courage Needed? • Courage is needed when facing physical danger (Acts 27:22, 25, 36). • Courage is needed in times of doubt and despair (Matt. 9:2, 22; 14:27; Mark 6:50; 10:49) • Courage is needed in times of trial and tribulation (Mark 15:43; John 16:33; cf. Rom. 5:7).

  4. When is Courage Needed? • Courage is needed in making a defense of one’s faith (Acts 23:11; 24:10). • Courage is needed in the preaching and proclamation of God’s Word (Phil. 1:14). • Courage is needed when administering reproof and rebukes (2 Cor. 10:1, 2; 11:21).
