  1. One of the 'Panj Takht', a hallowed sanctuary of the Sikh, Hazur Sahib Nanded, is the place where the Guru Gobind Singhji, the 10th of the 11 Sikh Gurus, held his last gathering. If we consider the History of Hazur Sahib, it was founded as early as 1609 by Guru Hargobind. The Hazoor Sahib complex, extending over several acres, consists of two buildings - Bunga Mai Bhago, a large room where tourists will find Guru Granth Sahib and possessions of Guru Gobind Singh like a brilliant knife, a matchlock rifle; a bunch of 35 bolts; two withdraws from; safeguard set with valuable stones and five brilliant swords.

  2. WHO BUILT HAZUR SAHIB GURUDWARA? The holy spot where Guru Gobind Singh held his last gathering, Hazur Sahib Nanded, is a Panj Takht Gurudwara of Sikhism. According to the legends, Guru Gobind Singh arrived in Nanded in the year 1708, late August. Anticipating the scenarios, Guru Gobind Singh asked to install the Guru Granth Sahib, and thus the place became known as 'Takhat Sahib'. The beautiful gilded building of Hazoor Sahib was constructed under the direction of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.

  3. WHICH OTHER GURDWARAS CAN YOU VISIT?

  4. Gurudwara Nagina Ghat Sahib is on the stream bank, around 400 meters southwest of Takhat Hazoor Sahib. The current structure on a high plinth involves a square lobby where Guru Granth Sahib is situated on a canopied Palaki of white marble and a more modest square room bested by a vault on the primary floor.   5. Around 400 meters from the hallowed place of Sri Hazur Sahib and on the banks of the stream Godavari is found Gurudwara Nagina Ghat. A ruler from Delhi, Raja Gulab Singh Sethi, established the framework of this gurudwara. The structure is decorated by an arch and has a unique cart made of white marble to hold Guru Granth Sahib.   6. This gurudwara gets its name from its area. It is arranged at the highest point of a slope and is around 12 km from Gurudwara Hazur Sahib. Its development is a treat for sore eyes as it is an excellent white construction decorated by a vault made of white marble. Gurdwara Shikar Ghat Sahib

  7. This gurudwara is situated around 9 kilometers from Nanded. It had acquired notorietyfor being the primary spot where Guru Gobind Singh Ji took cover when he arrived at Nanded.   8. This gurudwara is found just a large portion of a kilometer from gurudwara HeeraGhat. It was underlying the memory of Mata Sahib Kaur, the spouse of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.   9. BEST TIME TO VISIT To experience the Gurudwara in its full glory, tourists should visit it during the Sikh festivals. Every evening, a laser beam show takes place near the main Gurudwara. Through the show, vacationers are told about the existence of the ten Gurus. The show has been considered and coordinated by Jasbir Singh Dham, while the music and analysis are by the ghazal artist Jagjit Singh. The show will be held daily from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
