  3. In the past, thatched cottages were very common in the country. Nowadays, they are trendy, and many people have them as a second house. THATCHED COTTAGES • The typical Irish cottages have stone or white walls and their doors and windows are painted in a bright colour.

  4. The typical Irish breakfast is very substantial. In Ireland, the main meals are breakfast and dinner. Lunch usually consists of a sandwich and a piece of fruit.
