  1. Five Job Search Mistakes

  2. Are you a fresh graduate from college? Or are you an unemployed individual for quite a while? Either way, finding the right job might be your primary goal this time.

  3. Job searching can be an adventure on its own. It can be a long and tedious task that you must endure in order to find the job that will match your skills, expertise, educational attainment, and preference. For some, job searching can be an easy task that requires no effort at all. But, of course, most of us consider the process as a life changing phenomenon as it can make or break our careers.

  4. Since job searching is a long journey, most of us unknowingly practice various mistakes that make finding a job a worst scenario. 1.Not using the power of job search engines Job search engines are heaven sent for individuals looking for a job. Most of the job search engines operating on the World Wide Web have teamed up with the biggest names in various industries.

  5. 2.Relying too much on the internet Truth be told, the power of the internet has helped a lot in finding a job. That’s the main reason why more and more job hunters opt to find a job using the wonders of the internet. However, relying too much on the Internet can also be a disadvantage on the part of the job seeker. If you want to use the Internet or the job search engines, make sure that you can do it right.

  6. 3.Setting too high expectations Setting high expectations is one of the problems that first job seekers make. To aid with this, get to know the company you’re applying for. Determine the tasks and responsibilities that the position requires you to do. As much as possible, do your research before sending out your resumes and applications.

  7. 4.Not taking the job interview seriously The job interview is one of the most important phases in searching for a job. Many job seekers failed to get the job that they want because they tend to take the interview for granted not knowing that this is the right time to impress the interviewer.

  8. 5.Being unprofessional Being a fresh graduate isn’t a reason to be unprofessional. As a matter of fact, being professional even if you are a fresh graduate is a great way to make an impression that you can be an asset for the company that you’re applying.
