  1. What is Eat So They Can? What is it all about? ESTC is a global dinner party which takes place on the weekend of October 19-20thto raise money for vulnerable women and children around the world. ESTC is GVN Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser and is in its seventhyear. GVN Foundation is a non-profit organization with UN consultative status.

  2. Eat So Who Can? The funds raised through Eat So They Can are used to support 3 main causes: • Feeding Projects • Sustainability Projects • - Greatest Need

  3. Feeding Projects Funds raised for this cause will be used towards projects which support children’s immediate nutritional needs.

  4. Nutrition for Change Sacred Valley, Peru PROJECT: Our partner’s Nutrition for Change program provides a daily lunch to 400 school children.

  5. Sustainability Projects Funds raised for this cause will be used to provide grants that will assist our projects in becoming more sustainable. The types of projects supported through this cause include animal projects and income-generating projects.

  6. PROJECT: Women’s Group, Kitoola, Uganda Women are given animal training then gifted cows as a means of income generation and family nutrition and wellbeing. 7 cows have been distributed in the last 2 years and first born calves are donated to another group member

  7. Greatest Need Funds raised for this cause will go where they are needed most. These funds will also allow GVN Foundation to respond immediately to any emergencies in the future.

  8. PROJECT: Porridge Program Nakuru, Kenya In Kenya, we are funding a porridge program which provides a daily cup of porridge to 157 children who are living in camps for Internally Displaced People.

  10. Some inspiration to get you started… “Antarctic Feast” - Nicholas Hoffman, Antarctica Two events were hosted on US research stations including a Brunch with pizza, cookies and crème brulée. Raised: $800 for Greatest Need

  11. “Cocktails for a Cause” - Shelley Bragg, Shanghai Ambassador Shelley Bragg hosted an event of live music, auctions, raffle draws, spot prizes and guest speakers. The highlight of the event was a performance by the Kliptown Gumboot Dancers from South Africa! Raised: $9,000 for SOUTH AFRICA

  12. “International Dinner Party” - Knox Church, New Zealand Knox Church hosted a dinner with food from every corner of the world - pavlovas from New Zealand, curries from Malaysia, lasagne from Italy, moussaka from Greece, Mexican nachos and more ! Raised $2,000 for GREATEST NEED
