  1. Desktop Computer A Desktop Computer is intended for use at a single location. A Desktop Computer is made up of several parts. At a minimum, there is a Central Processing Unit, a Monitor, a Mouse, and a Keyboard. C.P.U. Monitor Mouse Keyboard
  2. Laptop Computer A Laptop Computer is a portable computer small enough to use in your lap and can easily be carried by hand. A Laptop Computer is also known as a Notebook Computer.
  3. Netbook Computer A Netbook Computer is a type of Laptop Computer. It is generally smaller than full size Laptops.

  5. Input Devices Input devices are pieces of equipment that are used to get information INTO a computer. The following list shows some common computer input devices: Keyboard Mouse Touchpad Digital Cameras and Camcorders Scanners Microphones Webcams
  6. Output Devices Output devices are pieces of equipment that are used to get information OUT of a computer. The following list shows common computer output devices: Monitor Projector Printer Speakers Headphones
  7. Storage Devices Think of a Storage device like a Filing Cabinet where you store your computer files. Here are some Storage Devices that will hold your important files. Hard Drive Flash Drive SD Card Compact Flash CD’s and DVD’s Online Backup
  8. Memory Cards SDHC For use in devices like digital cameras, camcorders, and smartphones. The type of memory card used is determined by the device. Memory cards are usually read by connecting the device to your computer or by using a Card Reader device. Compact Flash Micro SD
