Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board • The mandate • Review general and principal questions related to biotechnology, ethical and social implications. • Give information to the general public, and facilitate communication between the society, scientists and the Ministries/Administration. • Review the Norwegian biotechnology laws and give advise to the Norwegian authorities about biotech issues in international fora. • Monitor the implications of biotechnology in a North-and South perspective.
