Our daily interactions with the outside world, and public spaces, the marketing environment, and even each other, have been thoroughly tested. All of this quickly renews our understanding of personal hygiene and public health. We expect that the foodservice industry, especially the food sector, will undergo major and lasting changes in the way it operates. According to some recent consumer surveys, diners place safety and hygiene as their top priority when choosing a restaurant. The situation demands that all of us keep safety and hygiene a priority. Restaurants have always been the public place of interest of the world, and it is very important that staff and facilities follow the best practices in the restaurants to keep their staff and customers safe. All restaurants will need to rethink their functionality to match this post-COVID era for their customers. In the restaurant industry, the speed of recovery will be determined by how quickly it can restore consumer confidence.
