  1. Commandant’s Department Parents’ Day 2017 Overview

Mission • The Citadel will host Parents’ Day Weekend on campus, 6-8 October 2017 • This annual event will provide an opportunity for parents, relatives, friends, and • alumni to spend several days visiting with cadets, faculty, and staff, and to observe military and athletic events involving cadets • Activities provide parents the opportunity to assess the quality of education and • training provided to cadets by The Citadel • Class of 2018 receive their rings • Fourth Class cadets are promoted from Recruit to Private and • integrated into the Corps
