Donor Acknowledgement Policy • Donors who give <$250 online will immediately receive an automatic email acknowledgement; • Donors who give <$250 via check or credit card over the phone will receive an email acknowledgement within one week; and • Donors who give 250+ will receive an acknowledgement letter through the USPS within one week.

Campaign Implementation Plan & Revenue Allocation Agreement Form • Deadline: May 30, 2014 • Replaces the Chapter Partnership Grant Application Form • Anticipated Usage of Campaign Resources • Put a check mark next to the resources you think you may use throughout the year • Enter month(s) in which you may use them • Examples: • X Tent Cards May, Sep, Nov • X Solicitation Letters April, Oct

RuffaloCODY Calling Program • Services provided pro bono by RuffaloCODY • Convenient way to reach members you don’t see very often • High participation rate from new members • Modifying script to take address fact that callers are contacting fundraisers • Chapters can remove donors or members from the calling list

Stewardship • Present donors with donor pins at chapter events • Order pins through AFP Foundation • Invite donors to complete an “I give because…” placard, take their photo and add them to your PowerPoint presentation • Download placards from Toolkit • Verbally acknowledge donors and ask them to stand at chapter events • Recognize donors on your chapter website • All donors will be listed on the AFP Foundation website and in the 2014 annual report

Accessing Chapter Tally Report • Login to www.afpnet.org with chapter username and password, CHAPTERCODEFDC, (same entry for username and password; all in caps; case sensitive). • At the top of the screen, click on “My AFP Profile.” • Scroll down to Foundation Development Chair Reports and click on “Chapter Tally Report.” • “2013” or “2014” will appear in the box (or enter year for which you wish to run the report) and click “Continue.” The Chapter Tally Report will load at this point. • If report doesn’t appear, be sure to allow popups or disable popup blockers. NOTE: each browser has a different method for disabling popups.

Accessing Online Chapter Resource Guide • Login to www.afpnet.org with your membership username and password • Click on the green “Chapters” tab • Scroll down to the “AFP Chapter Management Resource Guide” section • Click on the link for “Foundation Development Chair” in the right-hand column under “Chapter Leader Resources”

  21. Dates & Deadlines If you have not yet finalized your chapter’s 2014 goal – please do so ASAP. If we don’t hear from you by April 30, we will record the proposed goal as your official chapter goal.
