Immucor Galileo Echo There are two (2) cartons that are labeled Main Unit and Fluidics • Tech Trans is responsible for unpacking the “Main Unit” and “Fluidics” cartons only. • There are additional cartons for the computer, monitor, printer, UPS, and accessories. These cartons will be unpacked by an Immucor Representative. These boxes should NOT be unpacked by Tech Trans personnel. Technical Bulletin TB-08-005-06 Immucor, Inc. Immucor Galileo Echo Unpacking the Main Unit carton • Grasp the instrument by the handles near the rear of the instrument • Grasp the back panel of the instrument for stability while lifting • Lift the instrument out of the box Technical Bulletin TB-08-005-06 Immucor, Inc. Immucor Galileo Echo Unpacking the Main Unit carton • Place the instrument on the counter with the bottom plywood exposed • Using the screwdriver, unscrew the seven screws and remove the plywood from the bottom of the instrument Technical Bulletin TB-08-005-06 Immucor, Inc. Immucor Galileo Echo Unpacking the Fluidics carton • The Fluidics carton consists of the instrument cover for the Main unit and the Fluidics module • Open the large box and remove the four foam pads. • Open the inner box and remove the cardboard divider.   15. Immucor Galileo Echo Unpacking the Fluidics carton • Remove the cardboard divider. The Fluidics Module is in the bottom of the carton. • Lift the cardboard insert out of the box. Immucor Galileo Echo Unpacking the Fluidics carton • Using the 5/32” Allen wrench or the Phillips screwdriver for fluidics modules F00252-F00291 and F00309 and above, remove the five screws and remove the plywood • Place the Fluidics module upright to the left of the main instrument Technical Bulletin TB-08-005-06 Immucor, Inc. Immucor Galileo Echo Unpacking the Fluidics carton • Return the plywood, cardboard insert, cardboard dividers and bubble wrap inside the box for removal • Replace the foam padding onto the corners of the inner box for removal Technical Bulletin TB-08-005-06 Immucor, Inc. Immucor Galileo Echo • Remove the empty Main unit and Fluidics cartons from the facility • The G3-Access and all additional cartons will be unpacked by Immucor • If requested by the customer to unpack all additional accessory boxes, call Matt Gaines at TECH TRANS at 1-800-952-3411-IMMEDIATELY Technical Bulletin TB-08-005-06 Immucor, Inc. Immucor Galileo Echo Minimum space requirements for instrument placement: • Width – 43 1/8 inches • Height – 26 inches • Depth – 22 1/2 inches • 12 inches of permanent clearance in back of instrument for service and maintenance access • Verify level surface for instrument placement. Instrument must be placed on a stationary bench, not on an equipment cart. • Additional space required for printer: 14.6" W x 9.6" D x 9.5” H Technical Bulletin TB-08-005-06 Immucor, Inc.
