Dachshund • Dog breed of hound and terrier ancestry • Developed in Germany to pursue badgers into their burrows • Sometimes referred to as “wiener dog” because of their size and elongated shape. • They are very playful dogs known for their spunky personality. • Answer the question: Why is this one of your favorite animals? • The dachshund is one of my favorite animals because of its playful personality. I like that even though it is a small dog it has a strong personality.
